The event briefing is the perfect tool and most effective way to communicate to the team all significant information required for an event .It is important that you pay close attention during your briefing as it will help you in obtaining information such as the type of event, the section you are allocated to, the type of menu and the beverages you are serving. Staff briefings can be different depending on function type i.e. Wedding, cocktail, conference but all should follow the same guidelines.
